I am a full time single mom and college student working part time to make ends meet for me and my six-year-old boy. I am so thankful for my parents’ support, or I wouldn’t be able to do it. Recently, I’ve been hearing your show during my long weekly car rides and it has brought back a lot of old good memories of growing up. My family would always have your countdown on while we did our household chores, and I can remember wishing and praying that my favorite would make it to number one. Well, I’m still listening and wishing for my favorites to make it to number one. One big favorite from the 90’s was Reba McEntire’s “Take It Back”. It would be so great to hear it on your program once again.

When we finished with college, my husband and I were married and began planning our lives. We both wanted a big family, but it just didn’t seem to happening for us. We tried, for 12 years, to have children. Then, seven years ago, we were introduced to another young woman who was pregnant and looking for a family who could adopt her baby. She turned out to be a child with special needs. Not at all what we had planned, but it felt just right and our daughter, Addison was born 3 months later. Ever since Billy Currington’s “Good Directions” came out, my husband has danced with Addison every time it’s come on the radio. And when it comes on in the car, she asks if we can call daddy so he can sing it to her. No question it’s their song. Please play “Good Directions”… I would love to watch my husband and his little girl dance together in the living room once again.
