Everyone knows country music is full of drinking songs. Be it whiskey, beer, a “Little Glass of Wine” or “White Lighting,” booze has been a part of the music’s fabric since the genre got off the ground in the 1920s.

Jana Kramer is returning to her acting roots.


Jake Owen released “Alone With You,” written by Shane McAnally, Catt Gravitt and JT Harding, in October of 2011, as the second single from his Barefoot Blue Jean Night album. The song became a No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and landed just outside the Top 40 on the Hot 100 (No. 41); it has also been certified platinum.


Willie Nelson has written some of the most iconic songs of the past several decades, including “Crazy,” “On the Road Again,” “Funny How Time Slips Away” and “Good Hearted Woman,” among many others.
